European cars like BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, and Audi often use a different sizing system called the DIN standard. These batteries are labelled simply as DIN 45, DIN 55, DIN 66, and so on. Its dimensions are 238 x 129 x 227 mm, so it fits neatly into most sedan battery trays. The “L” in its name tells you the negative terminal is on the left side. Car owners looking for a reliable daily driver battery often pick this size because of its balance between power and price.

80D26L / 80D26R

The 80D26L and 80D26R share the same body size as the 95D26 series, at 260 x 173 x 225 mm, but sit a step below it in output. 

This battery gives 65 AH of capacity with a CCA rating of 580, making it a solid choice for mid-size SUVs and pickups that need more power than a sedan battery but don’t run heavy accessory loads. 

Since it fits the same tray as the 95D26L, drivers can move up to that size later if their car’s electrical demand grows. As always, check the L or R terminal position before ordering.

85B24L

The 85B24L shares the same body size as the 55B24L, at 238 x 129 x 227 mm, but it packs a stronger punch. Its CCA rating jumps to 430, even though the capacity stays at 45 AH.
